1. What sports are offered?

Tega Cay Parks and Rec offers recreation sports in Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Youth Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Flag Football, Adult Kickball, and Adult Softball are offered in the Spring and Fall. Flag Football is offered during the summer season with 16U Youth Softball offered in the Spring season only. 

2. When can I sign up for youth sports?

Tega Cay Parks and Recreation offers fall and spring recreation leagues. Fall registration begins June 1st and will run through the first Saturday in August. Spring registration begins December 1st and will run through the second Saturday in February.

3. How can I get involved?

Tega Cay Parks and Recreation is always in search of volunteer coaches and team sponsorships. If you are interested in getting involved with baseball, softball, or flag football please contact Dustin Overton at Doverton@tegacaysc.gov. If you are interested in getting involved with soccer, please contact Andrew Raad at araad@tegacaysc.gov. 

4. How do I register for sports?

Tega Cay Parks and Recreation offers online registration. You may register online by following the links on the sports registration page. You may also register in person at the Parks and Recreation Office (4088 Beach Club Ln, Tega Cay, SC 29708).

5. What is your refund policy?

Tega Cay Parks and Recreation offers a full refund (minus online convenience fee) for anyone who cancels their registration prior to the registration deadline. There will be a $10 penalty assessed for any cancellation that occurs after the deadline and prior to tryouts. There will be a $25 penalty assessed for any cancellation that occurs after tryouts and prior to practices beginning. Once practices start there will be no refunds issued unless the child is injured and unable to participate for the season.

6. Where can I pick up a parking permit for Windjammer Park?

Resident and non-resident parking permits may be picked up at City Hall by providing your car registration and driver's license.

7. How do I reserve/rent a facility?

Tega Cay has several different facilities available to rent. If you are interested in renting Windjammer Park or Pitcairn Park please visit our rentals page here.  If you are interested in renting the Beach & Swim Center or one of our athletic facilities, please contact us (803) 548-3787. If you are interested in renting the lower level of the Glennon Center, please contact (803) 548-3512.
