Garbage and recycle bins are picked up as usual on the scheduled days for each area. The only difference is that all recycling will be taken to the landfill temporarily due to closures as a result of COVID-19. You can still sort recycling and take it to the Baxter Convenience Center on Hwy 160. If you choose not to take recyclables to the Baxter Convenience Center, we recommend continuing to separate recycling by placing it in your recycle cart to prevent garbage carts from being overfilled, and to continue the habit of sorting recyclables properly. Recycle carts should not be placed out with garbage carts, but instead on the normal scheduled day for recycling pickup. Please do not put garbage in the recycle bins, only recyclable items.
In short, continue rolling carts out as usual. Do not roll both carts out together. Garbage carts go out on garbage pickup day. Recycle carts go out on recycle day with recycle items only in the recycle cart.
