Tega Cay’s City events such as the free concerts, 4th of July all day celebration including a fireworks show, Fall Festival, and area parks are very popular with Tega Cay Residents and many other local residents outside of Tega Cay.
In an effort to keep these events and facilities at a high standard, the City sought to raise the necessary funds without impacting tax revenues. After discussing different ideas with volunteers in the City, Mayor Sheppard and City Staff came up with a way to give our sponsors more publicity and raise even more funds while also giving area residents the opportunity to enjoy a fun filled outing at one of the City’s greatest amenities.
Hence, the Tega Cay Mayors’ Cup Golf Tournament was created to help support the fundraiser mission.
The 5th Annual Mayors’ Cup Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday April 1, 2016 at the Tega Cay Golf Club. The tournament will be a 4-man Captain’s Choice tournament with a 12:00 PM shotgun start. Early-bird registration until February 26th!
