This is a public notification of a Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) that took place on January 29th, 2018, inside the Wastewater Treatment Plant #2 located at 4135 Koala Circle. The cause is unknown at this time. The SSO was verified at 7:30am and rectified by 8:30am. The size of the spill was approximately 12,000 gallons of partially treated wastewater that entered the lake through an adjacent storm drain. Therefore, a No Swim Advisory has been issued for the cove located between Marquesas Avenue and Palmyra Drive and will remain in effect until further notice.
