Mayor Sheppard recently met with Comporium executives to discuss infrastructure improvements in the City. In addition to upgrading the cable modem chassis which in turn eliminated a large number of system congestion issues, Comporium has begun the process of splitting nodes throughout the City. Node slitting has proven to be the most efficient way to provide more bandwidth to consumers. A summary of all improvements being made can be viewed in the link below.
