The City of Tega Cay Utility Department advises the residents in the area of Windjammer Drive and adjoining streets beyond the intersection of Cebu Court & Windjammer Drive to Windjammer Park that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.
Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples where collected and analyzed by the Utility Departments contracted lab. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
