The City of Tega Cay has been inundated recently as the #1 Best Place to live! We were recognized this week by onlyinyourstate.com as the #1 Best Place to Live in South Carolina. This comes on the heels of the 2015 Niche Rankings as the #1 Best Suburb in the Charlotte Metro Area, as well as #1 for South Carolina. The Niche Rankings website uses factors such as livability based on grades for weather, safety, schools, as well as access to activities, jobs, housing, and transportation. "A high ranking indicates that a suburb offers a high quality of life to its residents" according to local.niche.com. Giving Tega Cay an overall grade of "A+", the site also ranks Tega Cay as the #1 Best Suburb to Raise a Family in the Charlotte Metro Area and South Carolina overall, #1 Safest Suburb (Charlotte Metro and SC), #1 Suburb with the Best Public Schools (Charlotte Metro and SC), #2 Best Suburb to Buy a House in South Carolina and #1 Best Suburb to Buy a House in the Charlotte Metro Area.
