you can scan and email proof that the vehicle was insured on the date of the violation (the date of violation is on the ninth line down on the far right side of the UTT) to: court@tegacay.com
If we receive proof that the vehicle you were driving was insured on the date of violation, we will dismiss the ticket and you will not need to pay a fine or appear in Court. We must receive this proof no later than Friday, March 7, 2014 in order for you to be excused from appearing in Court. If you send us proof, we will acknowledge receipt of the proof and let you know that you do not need to appear in Court. If you appear on March 11, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. and show the proof of insurance, you will not need to pay a fine, but you may have to spend time waiting for your case to be called. The most efficient way to deal with the UTT is to provide proof via email prior to March 7, 2014.
If your ticket was for "Careless Operation" and you would like a fine reduction, you can contact the Court at the above email address and we will reduce the fine for you.
If we do not hear from you, your case will be heard on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. We will send you a Summons for that date at the address listed on your UTT.
