July 4th, 9:00 AM “Where Eagles Soar” Land Parade
Flag-waving fun begins at 9 AM! Parade floats and motorcades step off from Tega Cay Elementary, winding down Tega Cay Drive to Windward Drive. Expect spectacular eagle-themed flair—think feathered floats, bicycle brigades for kids, and spirited emcees announcing each entry. Please review the road closure map so that you can plan according, Tega Cay Dr. closes at 8:45 AM.
July 4th, 4:30 PM Lions Club Fish Fry, 6:00 PM Mayor's State of the City & Cake Cutting
After the parade, head to Glennon Center around 4:30 PM for a classic fish fry fundraiser. Choose between flounder or chicken tenders, plus hush puppies, coleslaw, potato salad, and iced tea. It’s a delicious way to fuel up before evening festivities! For tickets click here. During the Fish Fry at 6:00 PM The Mayor, Chris Gray will deliver his annual State of the City Address and celebrate Tega Cay's 43rd Birthday with Cake!
July 4th Fireworks Over Tega Cay
What better way to cap off July 4th then a dazzling fireworks display outside the Glennon Center, blasting off will be around 9:15 PM (or at dusk). Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and get ready for a spectacular finale! Please click here for parking information.
July 5th, 11:00 AM Flotilla Boat Parade, 11:15 AM Goat Boater "Freedom SUP Fun Run", 12:00 PM Carolina Show Ski Team Performance
Boating staging begins, 10:30 AM at Nevin's Creek before launching at 11:00 AM, the full parade route can be found here with the parade finishing at Windjammer Park around noon. Watch the decorated boats compete for top honors in this patriotic water spectacle! At 11:15 AM the Freedom SUP Fun Run at 11:15 AM will take place with awards ceremony shortly after. The Windjammer Party wraps up with Tega Cay's own, Carolina Ski Show Team, putting together another one of their breath taking performances at 12:00 PM. July 5th Uncle Sam Jam, 6:30 PM
Our U.S. of Cay celebration wraps up with the Uncle Sam Jam at Runde Park. Kids’ amusements begin at 6:30 PM, and the country duo Diamond Dixie takes the stage at 7:00 PM. Enjoy food trucks, adult beverages and games for kids (ages 3–13) for a night of family-friendly fun! Parking information for the event can be found here.
