This event will allow residents, landowners, business owners, and stakeholders to
- share ideas and community visions
- ask questions
- identify locations for improvement/preservation
- learn about the comprehensive plan update process
The Comprehensive Plan is a planning tool that provides a framework for implementing the community’s vision. The plan addresses housing, the local economy, community facilities, infrastructure, historic preservation, land use, open space and recreation, resiliency, and public investment. The plan considers short- and long-term goals covering a period of 10 years.
Public comments will inform the Tega Cay Comprehensive Planning Committee about areas in the community needing improvements, areas to preserve or protect, development of a community vision, identify new ideas, and identify public concerns.
