Policies and Procedures for The Beach Club
The Tega Cay Beach & Swim Center is an attendant only swim at your own risk facility. There will not be lifeguards on duty during hours of operation. Use of the facility is at the sole risk of the individual using the facility.
Membership
- Annual Pool Memberships run from the 1st weekend in May through the last weekend in September.
- Daily passes are not available for purchase.
Guest Policies
The Beach & Swim Center welcomes guests for members 18 & Up. Guests are required to adhere to facilities rules and members will be held responsible for their guests.
- (4) guest passes are included with each family membership and (2) are included with all other memberships.
- Guest Passes will be on file with the pool attendant at check-in. •
- Members can purchase up to (16) additional online or at the Parks & Recreation office.
- Guest Passes cannot be resold and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Members may use a maximum of (4) guest passes per visit.
Facility Rules
- No tobacco, recreational drugs, or outside alcohol is permitted at the facility.
- No outside food deliveries are allowed.
- No glass or breakable items are allowed in the pool or on the pool deck.
- Coolers/Bags are subject to inspection for outside alcohol and/or glass items when entering the pool facility.
- No pets are allowed inside the pool gates or clubhouse.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult member unless registered for an individual membership. Waivers are available for ages 14-17 at the Parks & Recreation Office.
- Children not toilet trained must wear appropriate waterproof clothing (e.g., swim diaper).
- Designated lap swim lanes will be available Monday-Friday. No one under the age of 18 may use the lap swim lanes. In the event of a storm, members will be required to exit the pool for thunder and the facility for lighting. The pool will reopen (30) minutes following the last thunder and/or lighting strike.
- Members exhibiting poor behavior such as excessive use of alcohol, under the influence of drugs, playing loud or inappropriate music, use of inappropriate language, or rough house behavior will be asked to leave.
- Small tubes, noodles and soft throw toys are allowed. No large rafts, floats, squirt guns, footballs, tennis balls, or frisbees are permitted.
- Parking permit is required and can be obtained Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at City Hall.
- Tega Cay residents must present a valid driver's license and vehicle or golf cart registration which both reflect the same Tega Cay address to receive a resident parking permit.
- Non-residents of Tega Cay can purchase a parking permit.
