1st Inspection: Plumbing Under Slab
- Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code before scheduling inspection.
2nd Inspection: Mono Slab and Footing
- Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code before scheduling inspection.
3rd Inspection: Exterior Sheathing
- Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code before scheduling inspection. Exterior sheathing needs to pass inspection before the water-resistant barrier (WRB) is installed.
4th Inspection: Complete Rough-in
- Framing: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code.
- Mechanical: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code.
- Plumbing: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code.
- Electrical: Ensure installation meets the 2020 National Electrical Code.
5th Inspection: Insulation
- Ensure installation meets the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code before scheduling inspection.
6th Inspection: Shower Pan
- Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code (required where shower floors and receptors are made watertight as per section P2709.2 of the IRC) before scheduling inspection.
7th Inspection: Temporary Power and Gas Release
- Ensure installation meets the 2020 National Electrical Code and the 2021 International Residential Code before scheduling inspection.
8th Inspection: Water and Sewer Operating Permit
- Ensure sewer and water lines are tied in, landscaping is finished, and meter boxes and clean-out caps are at grade and glued before scheduling inspection.
9th Inspection: Land Disturbance Final
- Ensure that all necessary measures have been implemented to bring the site to an acceptable condition before scheduling the inspection. This includes confirming that landscaping is completed in accordance with approved plans, encompassing vegetation, soil stabilization, and ground cover. Additionally, verify that adjacent infrastructure, such as sidewalks, roads, and utilities, remains unaffected by the land disturbance. Finally, assess the overall condition of the site to ensure compliance with local zoning and land use regulations.
Final Inspection: Building Final All Trades
- Mechanical: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code.
- Plumbing: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code.
- Electrical: Ensure installation meets the 2020 National Electrical Code.
- Building: Ensure installation meets the 2021 International Residential Code before scheduling inspection.
