H.R. 218 Tega Cay Police Department offers the opportunity for retired Law Enforcement Personnel to qualify with their concealed firearm. Active firearm instructors will be on hand to conduct the qualifications. You will need to bring your own firearm and ammunition. You MUST have completed the necessary forms that can be found by clicking H.R.218. You must also submit a copy of your current retired Law Enforcement picture credentials. The completed forms and copy of credentials need to be emailed to SPO Steven Timbs at STimbs@tegacaysc.govUpon successful completion, you will be contacted for issuance of qualification credentials, good for one (1) year. As long as you have qualified through our agency before, you will not need to submit paperwork again. You will only need to qualify every year to keep this active. According to LEOSA, you must reside in the state that you will qualify in.
