In 2017, the Tega Cay Police Department established the Business Watch program. The purpose of this program is to network businesses in order to prevent and reduce crime. Businesses are encouraged to
Submit Tips for suspicious activity on their mobile devices. The Department also established an email distribution list to increase information sharing between Police and businesses to help prevent crime. If you would like your business added to the email distribution list,
please contact us.
Additionally, each business is encouraged to
register their security cameras. In the instance there is a crime, our Police Department will be able to contact businesses in the immediate vicinity for security footage to help quickly solve crimes. By registering your camera, this does not allow the Department to log in or connect to the camera in any way.
The Police Department holds Business Watch meetings on a semi-annual basis with our businesses to continue to strengthen this partnership.
