Pack your day red, white and blue and help us celebrate the birth of our nation, as well as the City of Tega Cay's 42nd birthday!
Tega Cay’s Parade is widely known for its patriotic flair -- from streamers and ribbons on the largest entry to the smallest child, everyone comes together to make this event the best small town July 4th celebration in the area.
This year’s theme "All-American Celebration" encompasses the sounds of the holiday from ringing of the bells to children singing, and this year we want to show case all things Americana! Such as flags, balloons, attire and music! The more patriotic, while keeping in the theme, makes the perfect candidate for taking one of the coveted trophies and bragging rights!
It is very important to the success of the parade and the full enjoyment and safety of all participants and spectators that you know your responsibilities.
Please review the guidelines with your participants on the parade registration form. All entries must register to participate. No on-day participates will be accepted. Because this is a long route with high and low hills, participants will not be allowed to walk.
Entries will be announced at the judges’ stage by at the entrance to the Tega Cay Police Department. Please keep in mind our Emcees will only announce what you have written on the entry registration.
