The Fire Prevention Department offers commercial businesses, institutions, schools, industrial and residential (other than single family dwellings) establishments a wide range of fire prevention, life safety and fire protection services. This department reviews fire-related plans, conducts fire inspections during construction and ongoing, regular fire prevention inspections on all non-residential structures.
