Bob Runde is originally from New York City.  He and his wife Ceil moved to Tega Cay in
1971 with their three sons.  Mr. Runde officially retired in 1999 and is now in his second
term as Mayor.  "We purchased our lot and decided to build our home in Tega Cay in
June of 1970, at which time no one lived here.  We hope you and your family will enjoy all
Tega Cay has to offer as much as we have."

Larry Harper, Council Member

Larry Harper is from Aiken, SC.  Mr. Harper returned to South Carolina and began
calling Tega Cay home 17 years ago.  Larry is married to Kaye and they have 3
children and 3 grandchildren.  "Some people search their whole lives for what we
offer here in this great community, but don't take my word for it.  See for yourself why
'The Good Life' is our motto.  Welcome to Tega Cay!"
George Sheppard, Mayor Pro Tempore

George Sheppard moved to Tega Cay with his wife Penny and daughter Emma in
February of 2006.  He is originally from Huntington New York.  They were in search of
a better quality of life and a good school system.  They found both in Tega Cay.  "The
Ft. Mill school system is one of the best in the nation.  Come visit and fall in love with
Tega Cay as we did, and make it your future home.  Great people and smiling faces."
John Dervay, Council Member

John Dervay is originally from New York.  He has two daughters, both of whom live
in the area.  Mr. Dervay moved to Tega Cay in 1990 and then retired in 1992.  He
worked as the Planning & Zoning Administrator for the City from 1996- 2005.  He is
serving in his first term on City Council.  "We are a small town community within
minutes of Charlotte, NC.  We also have one of the best school systems in the
Nation.  Come on down and see us, y'all."
