When is my trash collected?
  • Residents who live in Amber Woods, Heron Harbor, Water Trace, Seven Coves, Calloway, Windjammer, Timberlake, Woodholm, Catamaran, Chelsea Day,
    Anchorage, Windward, Point Clear, Tera Tea, Mariana and Suwarrow Circle have their trash collected every Monday.  
  • Residents living off of Marquesas, Molokai, Silver Gull, Windsong Bay, Shoreline Pkwy., Meadowview, & Trail Ridge  have their trash collected every
    Tuesday.
  • Residents are reminded to have their trash out no later than 6 AM the morning of their scheduled pick-up and carts must be returned away from the street
    no later than 24 hours after pick-up.
When are my recycles collected?
  • All recycles are picked up at curbside every other Friday, beginning Nov. 7, 2008.  When placing boxes in your roll cart , please break them down before
    placing them in the container.
What should I do if my trash or recycles are not collected?
  • If your trash or recycles aren't collected on your scheduled day, please report it one of two ways: report it online using our Request for Service feature,
    or call Signature Waste at 1-866-779-9278                                
  • From the North- Take I-77 south to Exit 88 (Gold Hill Rd. Exit).  Turn right onto Gold Hill Rd. and follow it approximately 3 miles to Hwy. 160.  Cross over
    Hwy. 160 and follow it into Beautiful Tega Cay.  Gold Hill Rd. will become Tega Cay Dr. upon entering the City limits.
  • From the South- Take I-77 north to Exit 85 (Hwy. 160 Exit).  Turn left onto Hwy. 160 and head west until you reach the intersection of Gold Hill Rd.  Turn
    left and follow it into the City.
What recreational opportunities & community events are offered in Tega Cay?
  • City Council meetings are the 3rd Monday of every month.  Council meetings begin at 7:00 PM, unless otherwise posted, and are held at City Hall.  All
    Council meetings are open to the public.
How do I become a volunteer?
  • Tega Cay is known as a City of Volunteers.  Opportunities to volunteer range from coaching in one of our youth, sport leagues, to helping with spring clean-

During the fall months (November- February), residents may pile their leaves at the curb for collection by our leaf-vac equipment (during their collection weeks).  
All other months, leaves, along with all other organic debris (flowers, grass glippings, etc.) must be bagged for collection.  Limbs and sticks may also be placed
curbside year round.  Limbs must be cut no longer than 6' in length and be no more 4" in diameter.  Larger items can be collected by maintenance crews for a
fee.
