The Tega Cay Police Department Records Office is located in the Police Department and is available to the public for fingerprints Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 9 AM - 12 PM.

To obtain an Incident Reports you may stop by the department Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am - 3pm or contact the Records Manager by phone or email. Incident reports are available to the victim (free of charge) and other parties named in the report with the case number or name(s) of persons involved (fee charged).
If you need a SLED criminal background check, you must contact the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. You may do so onlineor by phone at (803) 737-9000. If you need a local background criminal check, you can contact the records office at the Tega Cay Police Department.
