Cop Card Program

Each year, the Police Department promotes their Cop Card program. This program was started to give our officers an opportunity to foster a positive relationship with our young people.

There is a contest as part of this program. Each of our police officers have trading cards with their name and picture on one side and fun information about each officer on the back. The first student from EACH school - Tega Cay Elementary, Gold Hill Elementary and Gold Hill Middle - to collect all of the cards and present them to the Department will win a pizza and ice cream party with the Chief for them and a few of their friends. Additionally, the first 5th, 6th and 7th grader to collect all of the cards will receive a pizza party with the Chief and a nomination for Camp Cadet!

Kids are encouraged to approach our officers when they see them at school or at a park or a ball game and ask them for a card. Our officers want to serve as a positive influence on our youth and we want our youth to know that all of our officers are always approachable. Good luck Kids!
